Prayer Update For Sheila

I posted a prayer request for Sheila a couple of weeks ago. Here's an update to help us pray more specifically.

"I had written you a few weeks ago asking for prayer. Today I am asking for specific prayer. As it stated in Matthew 18:19 makes it very clear, when two on Earth agree our God does hear. I have also asked my bible study ladies to pray for this also.

Please pray for financial freedom for the Lord to provide needs and to become debt free. Also, please pray for healing and salvation for Gene (husband) and Niece (Maggie).

We have agreed to pray for this daily.

Please join us in this prayer and I know that the Lord will provide. He always has taken care of me and I know that this will be a show of faith to those who doubt that the Lord is still very active in our lives and really does care."

Update On Travis

If you've been praying for our nephew, Travis, I want to thank you! As of a couple of days ago he had been transferred to a regular room and the doctors had said Travis was a "miracle!" To God be the glory!

You know, I've been around these type miracles all of my life. I've not only seen God touch others, I've also experienced His mighty power first-hand and it still amazes me to see the things that God does! I can't imagine anyone thinking that being a Christian is boring. Every day is an adventure and I believe that we are on the threshold of something BIG that is going to show the world that God is real, His love is real, Jesus really died on the cross for our sins, He rose from the dead, and the day of miracles is far from being over!

It's late and I need to get to sleep, but I pray that God will fill your life with joy and that every need will be met. If I can pray for you, please, feel free to send me an email through my profile.

Emergency Prayer Request

Please, pray for our nephew, Travis. He was stabbed last night and is in critical condition. He's about as skinny as my finger, and the knife (or whatever object was used) went through him from front to back. He lost his spleen, 75% of his pancreas, part of his liver, and had to receive 4 pints of blood...Doctors have said that it will take a "Divine miracle" for him to pull through. Thank God that HE is still doing those type things!!
